The food at Hotel La Chaumiere was absolutely delightful, particularly the generous dinner portions that showcased traditional French cuisine. The four-course meal was such a treat worth staying in for!
One downside was the boot room not being properly warmed, which resulted in wet boots each morning when we set out to ski.

great hospitality but room needs updating
The family that runs the hotel provides a welcoming atmosphere. They truly care about their guests, making everything feel personal. The stunning mountain view from my room was a breath of fresh air, adding to the overall experience.
The room decor felt a bit dated, which impacted my overall comfort.

Beautiful views of Morzine valley from my room.
Our arrival was quite stressful due to the hotel closing early. With no one available to help us, we felt lost until a neighbor intervened to make contact. my request for a twin room was met with resistance from the staff, which left a sour taste considering the earlier warmth they had shown.

Intermittent Wi-Fi issues!!! Some rooms needed updates, particularly the bathrooms!!! The shuttle service could improve on wait times!!! Would love better accessibility for those with mobility issues!!!

Charming Stay with Fantastic Food
Had a delightful 6-night stay with amazing breakfasts and dinner. The cozy room was perfect for relaxing after skiing. The hosts, Franck and Michelle, genuinely cared for our comfort. Aim for the shuttle service timings to avoid long walks back from the lifts in ski boots. Highly recommend!

We had an awesome stay with friendly service that made us feel right at home, and the food was delicious! The kids loved the heated pool and the cozy TV room was perfect for winding down in the evenings. Just a heads up, it would be better if late arrivals were given a heads up about the hotel closing time, but all in all, we really enjoyed our trip! 😊

lovely family run hotel! the vibe is super chill, and the food is really great, always felt at home. the heated pool was a plus, kids had a blast! they also did morning transfers to the ski lifts, which was helpful and saved us some time.
the room felt a bit small for our group, and the decor could use a little update.
